Immerse yourself in a world of enchanting lights and stunning installations at Lumina Park in Budapest. Enjoy over 200 light installations, captivating music, and interactive games.
The 1.5-kilometre walking route features familiar characters from the story, including the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts. Large-scale light installations and projections recreate scenes inspired by Alice’s adventures.
Rather than a traditional light display, Lumina Park offers an immersive, walk-through adventure. Visitors follow a winding route through illuminated scenes, discovering new characters and visual surprises along the way as the grounds of the Palatinus Baths are transformed into a glowing Wonderland.
The park is generally closed on Mondays, as well as on 1 November and 24 December. It will be open on 28 December and 4 January. Visitors should check the operating schedule before their visit, particularly during the holiday period. A visit typically takes between 1.5 and two hours, depending on how much time visitors spend exploring the displays and taking photographs.
The entrance is at the Palatinus Baths, 1 Soó Rezső Promenade on Margaret Island. Bus 26 connects the island with Nyugati Railway Station and Göncz Árpád City Centre.
Visitors are advised to consider public transport, as parking capacity at the northern end of Margaret Island is limited.
