The county seat of Somogy is set to once again welcome world-renowned classical music stars. Under the artistic direction of Kristóf Baráti and István Várdai, the organizers are preparing a diverse range of professional programs, art lectures, children's activities, pop-up concerts, and, of course, classical music performances for visitors. 

The Kaposfest - International Music and Arts Festival is an annual classical music festival that has been taking place since 2010. It features renowned Hungarian and international artists. Besides a variety of cultural programs offered alongside the festival, its uniqueness lies in the fact that performers who typically play as soloists on stages worldwide come together to perform as chamber musicians. 

Every year, a variety of printed and electronic media cover the Kaposvár International Chamber Music Festival. Thanks to Bartók Radio, performances have reached an audience of tens of millions across Europe. Most reviews of the festival are positive, highlighting not only the high quality of the concerts but also the festival's uniqueness, as many musicians who typically do not play together perform here. Additionally, the atmosphere of the city adds to the experience. The festival's cushion has also proven to be a great success.
