The Snow Flower Festival is a captivating event in Hungary that showcases an exquisite collection of twenty-four varieties from seven species of protected plants. Rules and Tips for Visiting the Arboretum
- Protection of Snowdrops: Snowdrops are a protected species. Picking them has been prohibited since 2005, and violations may result in a fine.
- Photography: You are welcome to take photos, but please do not disturb the flowers.
- Registration: Prior registration is only necessary for professional guided tours.
- Payment Options: Please note that payments using Szép cards or Erzsébet cards are not accepted.
- Accessibility: The area is covered with wood chips; therefore, it is recommended for wheelchair users to have an escort.
- Weather Policy: The Arboretum will be closed during rainy or stormy weather.
- Cycling and Pets: Cycling is not allowed within the Arboretum, and animals are also not permitted.
The Alcsút Arboretum is situated in the suburbs of Alcsútdoboz and is easily accessible. If you are driving, free parking is available in the area. It is recommended to park your car at the Pancho Arena, where there are plenty of parking spaces. For those using public transport, you can reach the entrance by walking approximately 15 minutes from either the "Községháza" or "Kastély" bus stops.
