At the end of May, Balatonfüred will once again come alive with the flavors of Lake Balaton, outstanding local wines, and vibrant open-air entertainment.

One of the festival’s highlights will once again be the presentation of the renowned Balatonfüred–Csopak wine region. Along the promenade, visitors will have the opportunity to taste wines from several local wineries and discover the distinctive character and atmosphere of the Balaton region through its celebrated vintages.

The culinary experience would not be complete without traditional fish dishes and regional specialties. Freshly prepared Balaton fish, grilled delicacies, and a variety of street-food favorites will be served throughout the event, creating the perfect setting for relaxed waterfront strolls, tastings, and summer evenings by the lake.

Each night, the Tagore Promenade’s main stage will transform into a lively concert venue featuring a diverse musical lineup. Dance and cultural traditions will also play a central role in the festival program.

Families and younger visitors will find plenty of entertainment throughout the festival. Daily activities include playgrounds and game areas, a Reform Era-themed family quiz, storytelling tents, puppet theater performances, and even a children’s fishing competition.

Those looking for a more creative experience can participate in the Vaszary Creative Workshop, where guests may create their own artworks inspired by the exhibition of renowned Hungarian painter Egry József

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Lake Balaton, the festival promises a memorable celebration of regional gastronomy, culture, music, and community spirit.
