Held at the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center, the exhibition features an incredible selection of Hungarian Press Photo Contest photos. This year, nearly 300 photographers submitted over 7000 images, covering everything from hard-hitting news events to everyday moments that make life in Hungary unique. 

The Hungarian Press Photo Exhibition launched on May 6, 2025, with a special event featuring Rubik Ernő, the legendary mind behind the Rubik’s Cube! His appearance brought an extra spark to the opening, making it an unforgettable start to this yearly showcase of powerful photojournalism.

The Hungarian Journalists’ Association Photojournalists Section handed out several prestigious awards, including the MÚOSZ Grand Prize and the André Kertész Grand Prize.

These awards recognize the skill and dedication of photographers who bring important stories to life through their lenses.

The exhibition runs from May 7 to August 31, 2025, giving you plenty of time to drop by.
