One of the attractions at Müpa is the organ, which is admired by all who visit the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall.

This time, visitors not only have the opportunity to appreciate the instrument's impressive structure and rich sound, but those interested can also gain insight into its "secrets" with the guidance of organist László Fassang. The program, called OrganExpedition, is led by Fassang, a professor at both the Liszt Ferenc University of Music and the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Paris. As an expert in the field, he will discuss the centuries-old history of organs and present Müpa's impressive instrument, featuring 6,804 pipes and 92 registers across five manuals, through a visual presentation. At the end of the program, participants will have the chance to experience the instrument's endless possibilities during a short virtuoso demonstration.

Make sure you don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience!

Date and time: 5th November 2024, 4pm-5pm
