"Our association is proud to offer Nordic walking training sessions and tours on a regular basis, three to four times a week. Over the past few years, we have successfully introduced the Nordic walking technique to around 1,000 to 1,200 individuals. Many of these participants have embraced this activity, purchasing their own poles and continuing to walk—either on their own or through our organized events.
The results have been remarkable. Many elderly participants, who initially struggled to walk even a few hundred meters, have increased their endurance to an impressive 4 to 6 kilometers within just a few months. In 12 to 18 months, some are achieving the incredible milestone of walking 10 to 12 kilometers continuously. For our most dedicated walkers, tackling distances of 20 to 25 kilometers on flat terrain has become a reality.
