The Egri Wine Festival promotes Hungary's first protected origin wine, now known as "Hungarikum" Egri Bikavér, its white counterpart, Egri Csillag, and the Egri protected origin wines, as the event pays special attention to the connection points between cultured wine consumption, direct contact with the consumer, gastronomy, food and wine, and culture.
The best kitchens of Eger and the surrounding area will prepare their food specialties composed for the unique occasion, which, in addition to the presentation of the diverse folk culture and traditions of the Hungarians, provides a serious artistic experience as well as tasting opportunities. The wine, the fabulous environment, and the concerts are an excellent opportunity to relive the irreplaceable, lifelong experience of togetherness, reunion, and spiritual closeness with family, friends, and long-lost acquaintances, in a relaxed manner.
The festival offers an exciting musical lineup: the opening concert will be opened on Thursday by the Queen tribute Hungarian Rhapsody, and in the evening, the band Random Trip will perform.
On Friday, the Kelet Brass Band and Honeybeast will perform.
On Saturday, a classical music treat awaits: the Symphonic Dances Among the Trees program creates a deep atmosphere among the trees.
In addition, the festival will feature a parade of vintage vehicles, a tractor-motor experience, slam poetry, literary programs, and an exclusive wine knighthood ceremony, enriching its offerings.
Venue: Szmrecsányi Lajos Kert - Érsekkert, Eger
