This spring event is an ideal program for visitors who want to discover the creative heartbeat of the city and experience Budapest’s rich performing arts culture. 

The programme offers an impressive variety of performances and activities. From classical opera to contemporary dance, from traditional drama to experimental theatre, the evening showcases the full spectrum of Budapest’s performing arts. Visitors can take part in open rehearsals, backstage tours, workshops, musical sessions and interactive events, while also meeting actors, directors and dancers. 

Participating Theatres: The line-up includes some of the city’s most renowned cultural institutions, such as the Hungarian State Opera, Vígszínház, Madách Theatre, Katona József Theatre, Budapest Puppet Theatre, Thália Theatre, Trafó House of Contemporary Arts, Örkény István Theatre, Karinthy Theatre, and the University of Theatre and Film Arts. 

Smaller independent venues also join the celebration, including the Dante Community Creative Space and the Jurányi Incubator House, offering a diverse and exciting programme across the city.
