The Balatonfüred Wine Weeks are one of the most popular gastronomic events in the city, offering visitors the chance to sample the best wines from the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region.

This year, as is tradition, the Füred Winemaker of the Year will be honored among the winemakers' wooden houses.

Only wineries that have achieved a sufficient score in the city wine competition and have vineyard areas in Füred can participate in this event. Each winery is allowed to present between 8 to 12 types of wine, offering nearly 300 options in total.

The riesling selection is particularly vibrant, featuring a range that includes classic varieties, late-harvest wines, and vineyard-selected options. This year's festival is expected to showcase sparkling wines as the highlight, while rosés are also anticipated to be popular, having become increasingly full-bodied in recent years.

Additionally, attendees can look forward to a selection of robust red wines, unique wine specialties, and award-winning sparkling wines.

The Wine Weeks feature a variety of musical performances, including jazz, blues, and folk music concerts that take place daily on the Kisfaludy Stage and on smaller stages set up between the wine pavilions.

Throughout the event, wine quality is continuously monitored, and only bottled wines are served in glasses.

Attendees receive custom-made, three-deci crystal glasses as special souvenirs, each embossed with the inscription "Balatonfüred" on the base.

The wine pavilions are open every day from 10:00 AM to midnight.
