Immerse yourself in the timeless elegance of The Duchess's luxurious rooftop bar in Budapest

A hidden jewel box can be found on the roof of the beautiful Klotild Palace. Following the key logo, through a small corridor, we can take the first elevator in Budapest to the roof, where we can almost float above the Elizabeth Bridge and contemplate the Danube and the Buda side, while tasting fresh and very clean cocktails, whose lightness elegantly complements the heavy luxury.

The palace's founder, Marie Clotilde, Her Imperial and Royal Highness, asked her famous architects to create a glamorous rooftop hideaway as a meeting place for the decadent movement, where she could share her joie de vivre with the city's socialites.

The palace
was renovated a few years ago. The functional diversity of the renovated building also commemorates the extensive social connections of the eponymous princess and the colorful social life of the time, as in addition to the luxury hotel, there is also a beautiful Art Nouveau café, cabaret, and restaurant, the gastronomic concept of which is managed by Spago by Wolfgang Puck, just like that of the rooftop Duchess.

The Duchess is a fantastic Budapest rooftop bar, perfect for some
very fine pre-dinner drinks with a new perspective, or later nights when chill DJ tunes raise the atmosphere.

Please note that under-18s are not permitted in the bar or on the outside terrace.
